On a cold Friday morning 64 of our members arrived at “The Deckhouse”, Woolwich to celebrate the President’s Lunch.

On arrival we were offered a drink, red/ white, bubbles or a beer to kick off the event.

Our room looked amazing with wonderful views across to the Harbour Bridge, special thanks to Carol for the table decorations.

I think I can speak for everyone when I say that the food was excellent and the staff very professional and obliging.

Our new President, Josephine McBride, gave a beautiful speech. It was then followed by an award presentation by Josephine to 14 of our members who contribute for the benefit of all members each and every month.

Before coffee we had a lucky door prize, a raffle ticket under a seat. There were 2 winners, John Timmins and had the Barbara Beasley, a $50.00 Myer voucher congratulations to you both.

We also opportunity to have a photo of Josephine and 13 Past Presidents.
